Knowledge Environments: Expanding education during and after the pandemic
China continues to build upon its success in creating new higher education and further education opportunities for students from abroad and at home. A significant influence in the region, with increased student numbers and impressive gains within benchmarks, it is setting up its own dynasty of education to rival other major destinations.
To meet these opportunities, China will need to expand upon their base, addressing the needs of traditional students, as well as the needs of emerging student markets, such as the life-long learning and professional development market. They will also need to continue to address the barriers created during the pandemic.
The QS Higher Ed Summit will explore the history of education within the region and discuss its possible futures, how it can get there, the changing demands of students, businesses, and the community, and the likely trends over the next few years.
